Management
(a) CCC comprises of the following members:
- Head, CCC
- Two Faculty Members
- Sr. Technical Officer (IT) (System Administrator)}
- Senior Technical Officer
The Senior Technical Officers and other Technical Staff are associated with CCC on a full-time basis.
The professions of System Administration and Programming require vastly different specialized skill sets.
The System Administrator and the Programmer are two Specialist Senior Technical Officers appointed for projects related to “Systems & Networks” and “Applications & Services” in the Institute, respectively.
(b) CCC is organized as follows:
- Administrative Division {lead by Head, CCC}
- Systems & Networks Division {lead by Sr. Technical Officer (IT) (System Administrator)}
- Applications & Services Division {lead by Sr. Technical Officer}
The Sr. Technical Officer (IT) (System Administrator) lead “Systems and Networks” Division of the CCC is responsible for the End-to-End Planning, Design, Implementation, Operation, Optimization and Maintenance of the Campus Wide Wired Network, the Campus Wide WiFi Network, the Campus Wide Telephony Network, the Campus Network Security, the Advanced Computing Facility, the Campus Hosting Services, the Campus Wide Software Licensing, the ICT infrastructure in the CCC Computer Labs and the Computer Lab Classrooms.
The Sr. Technical Officer lead “Applications & Services” Division of the CCC has developed, and tested in-house, the Institute Website, the Faculty Recruitment Application, and the Online Testing Application for Institute Ph.D. Admissions, among others. It is also running an Institute Directory Service which is used for Internet Access Authentication and a Webcasting Service for Webcasting Video Streams. This group is also managing the Institute Email Application.

Roles and Responsilities of Administrative Division
This division serves as the interface between the institute and the two technical divisions of CCC, i.e., the “Systems & Networks” division and the “Applications & Services” division.
This division looks after the general administrative tasks associated with the running of the CCC.
This division frames the usage policies.
For state-of-the-art ICT infrastructure and services in the institute, it seeks initiatives from the technical divisions along with budget and technical and commercial terms.
Once every year, this division seeks and consolidates ICT requirements of the institute. It communicates these requirements to the concerned technical division for the preparation of budgetary and detailed techno-commercial proposal.
Once every year, this division seeks the annual budget requirements from the concerned technical section.
This division is responsible for justification of the proposals and for seeking necessary budgetary approvals.
This division communicates the budgetary approvals to the technical divisions for implementation.
This division ensures compliance with and fully supports the official procurement procedures.
This division acts in consultation from time to time and consonance with the technical sections in various phases.
