The Application Development & Services Section plays a vital role in developing, managing, and maintaining web-based systems and digital services for the institute. It primarily focuses on the in-house development, deployment, and continuous maintenance of web portals, applications, and communication platforms that support both academic and administrative functions.
The division is responsible for the development and management of the institute’s official website and various web portals. It also handles several in-house web applications, including Faculty Profile, Faculty Recruitment (based on MRR), Online Testing, Ph.D. Admissions, Department Internet User Management, and the User Communication Application. In addition, it manages the institute’s webmail services through the email server and provides essential web services such as Naming Service, Directory Service, and File Sharing Service. The division also facilitates webcasting services for events and academic purposes. Beyond development and services, it extends technical support to companies during placement activities and oversees the maintenance and scheduling of the CCC Lab, CLCs, and virtual classroom infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient digital operations across the institute.
